This is a complete and comprehensive description of the property contents and condition of every room including all fixtures, fittings, furnishings and describing decorative order.

This report is carried out at the end of the tenancy and the original inventory and check in report are checked against the condition on the date of the inspection and any differences are noted and may be photographed. Liability will also be assigned to Landlord or Tenant in relation to damages and fair wear and tear. We will also take final meter readings and collect the keys from the tenant.

During a tenancy it is normal practice for the property to be inspected to ensure that it is being looked after and that any maintenance issues are addressed in good time. Red Key Inventories will visit the property with the inventory and note any areas that require action and report back to the Client. 

This report is carried out on the day of the commencement of the tenancy. Red Key Inventories will meet the tenant at the property and go through the inventory with them, note any comments they have and get them to sign off that they agree to the condition of the property. Red Key Inventories will also take meter readings and hand over the keys to the property as soon as the condition of the property is agreed.

INVENTORY/CHECK IN

This service is carried out on the day of the commencement of the tenancy and involves the inventory being drawn up whilst with the tenant at the property, and gaining their agreement of the Report contents.

Red Key Inventories will take meter readings and record these in the Inventory,  and the tenant will sign the report as to the condition of

the property. keys can then be handed over to the tenant

 

 

1. VAT will be added to all prices at the prevailing rate.

2. Properties with more than 5 bedrooms price will be quoted individually.

3. All bookings must be made on the booking form on our website (www.redkeyinventories.co.uk) with clear and accurate descriptions of the job required.

4. Prices quoted relate to standard size properties in each category comprising of the number of bedrooms, 1 kitchen,1 living room, 1 bathroom. Additional rooms charged at £10 per room.  If property is larger than average, Red Key Inventories reserve the right to quote for the individual job and this will be confirmed with the customer on booking the job.

5. Prices quoted are for all jobs in our core area. Should you require a job outside of our normal area we reserve the right to quote you for the job on an individual basis.

6. All completed reports will be sent in pdf format within 48 hours of the property visit unless otherwise requested. Should you require a hard copy these will be available at a cost of £5 plus VAT per report.

7. Payment will be due within 14 days of invoicing  if you are an account holder. If payments are not received by the due date interest at the rate of 3% above Royal Bank Of Scotland base rate will be charged from the date the payment is due until the date payment is received.  Should legal action or appointment of debt collection agencies be required , any costs incurred will be payable by the instructing client. No further works will be undertaken until outstanding balances are cleared.

8. Invoices for new customers need to be paid prior to delivery of the desired report.

9. Cancellations  - Should it be necessary to cancel a booked appointment there will be no charge if notice is given to us a maximum of 4 working hours prior to the booked appointment. Should we not be notified a cancellation fee of £50 plus VAT will be charged.
